PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS FROM MSU/USM, REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA IN THE CONFERENCE ORGANIZED BY ASRO, BUCHAREST IN IASI, ROMANIA
On May 28, 2026, a group of 32 students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Moldova State University, Republic of Moldova had the opportunity to participate in a unique event – the International Conference “Standards 4Future Skills – Hack Your Way Into the Industry”, organized by ASRO – the Romanian Standardization Association in Iasi, within the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University.
The event organized by ASRO with the support and funding of EDU4Standards aimed to bring together students, representatives of the academic environment, international experts and industry professionals to discuss future skills, innovation, digitalization and the role of standardization in professional development.
The International Conference “Standards 4Future Skills – Hack Your Way Into the Industry”, organized by ASRO in Iasi, offered MSU students the opportunity to:
– Interact directly with international experts and guests;
– Participate in interactive sessions and activities dedicated to innovation and emerging technologies;
– Obtain an official certificate of participation, which can represent a competitive advantage on the labor market;
– Develop relevant skills in the field of standardization, increasingly appreciated by employers at the European level.
MSU students were accompanied and guided by professors – Associate Professor, Dr. Marian Jalencu, Associate Professor, Dr. Boris Corețchi and Lecturer, Dr. Galina Lisa, members of the Horizon STAR-MSCA project group, MSU, who also participated as speakers at the event.
We would like to especially mention the fact that this participation of MSU students, Republic of Moldova in this event was possible thanks to the partnership established between MSU and ASRO within the European Horizon STAR-MSCA project.
