In May 2026, Elena Fleaca from POLITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB), Department of Entrepreneurship and Management, completed a two-week secondment at Moldova State University (MSU), Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. During the visit, she participated in collaborative meetings and research activities focused on ESG sustainability disclosure practices and cross-cultural sustainability reporting. The programme included participation in the round-table event “Sustainable Management – A New Paradigm for Local Entities”, the project’s 3rd General Assembly meeting, and several knowledge-sharing and outreach events organised by MSU.
The secondment also involved meetings with local stakeholders, including the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova (CNPM), the Intervention and Payments Agency for Agriculture (AIPA), addressing opportunities and challenges related to the implementation of the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs.
These activities contribute to ongoing empirical research on cross-cultural sustainability information and strengthen collaboration between project partners and local stakeholders.
