Tülay Kaya, PhD, Associate Professor at Istanbul University, completed her STAR-MSCA secondment in Turin, Italy, from 20 August to 18 September 2026, hosted by INFOR ELEA.
During the secondment, research and knowledge-transfer activities were carried out within WP4-Knowledge Transfer, Training & Capacity Building, focus on advancing the project’s research activities and contributing to the development of project outputs.
Alongside these research activities, Tülay Kaya visited Oscalito and ENGIM Piemonte to disseminate the STAR Project and gain insights into sustainability and sustainability reporting practices. At Oscalito, a focus group interview was conducted with employees involved in sustainability reporting to explore the implementation of ESG practices within the company. The visit to ENGIM Piemonte provided an opportunity to examine sustainability perspectives within the NGO sector.
The secondment also provided a valuable opportunity for interdisciplinary and international knowledge exchange, while contributing to the STAR Project’s research, stakeholder engagement, and comparative analysis of ESG reporting and sustainability practices. In this context, Tülay Kaya worked with researchers from Czechia on the preparation of project reports, shared preliminary research findings, and engaged in comparative discussions on cross-cultural dimensions of ESG reporting.
