Elena Fleaca, from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, participated in the 3rd European Sustainability Accounting & Reporting Conference (ESARC 2026), held on 10–11 September 2026 at the University of Bamberg, Germany. She presented the paper “Examining the Influence of the Masculinity–Femininity Cultural Dimension on Financial and Non-Financial ESG Disclosure Practices” developed by a STAR project research team from Romania, Poland, Austria and Bulgaria. The presentation offered an opportunity to share STAR-related research with the scientific community and to contribute to discussions relevant to business and industry, particularly on ESG disclosure, sustainability reporting and the role of cultural context in reporting practices.
Participation in ESARC 2026 supported networking, knowledge exchange and project visibility, while creating opportunities for future academic cooperation and strengthening links between research and sustainability reporting practice.
