During her secondment, she participated in the Joint Interdisciplinary Workshop (JIW2/E2) together with PhD and postdoctoral researchers from partner institutions across Europe. The workshop focused on the cultural, sociological, legal, and sectoral dimensions of ESG reporting, providing opportunities for interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and comparative discussions. As part of the programme, she also participated in a research visit to the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, exploring the relationship between cultural heritage, sustainability, and ESG dimensions through field-based observations.

Beyond the academic activities, the secondment provided valuable opportunities for international collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Tülay Kaya participated in networking activities with companies, NGOs, public institutions, and business organisations. In this context, she held meetings with the Yunus Emre Institute in Paris and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Paris to explore opportunities for engaging Turkish business representatives in France in the STAR Project’s qualitative research and stakeholder engagement activities.

The secondment strengthened interdisciplinary and international collaboration while supporting the STAR Project’s research, stakeholder engagement, and comparative analysis of ESG reporting practices.
