An inspiring day of academic dialogue, international collaboration and innovation based on sustainability within the STAR project – HORIZON-MSCA-2023-SE-01 took place (on 07 May 2026), at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Department of Business Administration, State University of Moldova.
The outreach and knowledge exchange event, “Understanding ESG Disclosure through Cultural and Industrial Perspectives”, brought together distinguished researchers and members of the Horizon-STAR consortium from Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova, the Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Italy, France, Austria to discuss ESG reporting practices, cultural dimensions, sustainability transparency and interdisciplinary research results.
The discussions and analyses highlighted the growing importance of cooperation between academia and industry in shaping sustainable transformation and strengthening the ESG ecosystem in partner countries in the European Union and the Republic of Moldova. The exchange of expertise, research insights and practical experiences directly contributes to building stronger institutions, more responsible businesses and better informed future professionals.
We are proud to have had the happy opportunity to host this prestigious meeting of the members of the Horizon Europe STAR consortium at the Moldova State University, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova and are grateful to them for their contribution to promoting sustainability reporting, innovation and business resilience across Europe.
