In July 2025, Małgorzata Koszewska from the Institute of Marketing and Sustainable Development, Lodz University of Technology, carried out a one-month research secondment at INFOR ELEA Smart Business Academy in Turin (Italy) within the framework of the STAR Project (Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchanges)

The secondment was hosted by INFOR ELEA and supported by the strong local engagement of its President, Carlo Colomba, which enabled access to a wide network of companies and institutions across the Piedmont region

During the secondment, empirical fieldwork, interviews and case-based research were conducted with organisations representing different sectors and levels of ESG maturity, including:

These visits combined site tours, group interviews and structured ESG assessments, generating comparative data on environmental performance, governance systems, social policies, innovation models and reporting practices

The secondment directly supports the STAR Project’s objective to co-create practical, context-aware and actionable ESG reporting frameworks, grounded in real organisational practices, sectoral differences and stakeholder needs, and will feed into future scientific publications, case studies and policy recommendations
