The project week began with an intensive Thematic Research Workshop titled “The Critical Role of Standards and International Instruments in Shaping Sustainability Reporting Business Practices.” The session brought together researchers, doctoral candidates, and academic staff for an interactive exchange focused on sustainability reporting frameworks and ESG disclosure practices across industries.

Participants engaged in hands-on activities and knowledge-sharing sessions to explore how international standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) and European standards systems (e.g., CEN, CENELEC, ESI) interact with ESRS and influence business practices and stakeholder transparency.
