On August 28, 2025, two postdoctoral researchers from POLITEHNICA Bucharest (UNSTPB) have recently continued their secondment activity at BEIA GMBH in Vienna, Austria. The team, which included researchers from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management and the Department of Economics, was warmly welcomed by colleagues at BEIA GMBH.
Throughout the secondment, the researchers are engaging in a series of collaborative meetings and research activities focused on ESG sustainability disclosure practices. Their empirical research work is concentrating on the specific challenges and opportunities faced by local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in strengthening sustainability reporting. These efforts are contributing to an understanding of how SMEs can enhance transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting.
